Arisians of Color Safer Space Room Staff

The Arisians of Color Safer Space Room is a space for People of Color members of our community to rest, unwind, and connect. A place for POC members of our community to meet each other and share stories and support.

For the safety and comfort of its users, the Safer Space for Arisians of Color will be staffed exclusively by volunteers who are people of color.

Responsibilities:
Coordinating room setup needs with Arisia Hotel staff prior to convention, (already in process for 2022)
Verifying correct room setup at con
Opening and/or closing AoC Room
Monitoring AoC Room space during shift
Answering any Aoc Room related questions
Escalating questions to the AoC Room Area Head or other senior staff as needed.
