Creators' Corner Area Head

The Creators' Corner Area Head helps coordinate the selling of spaces to artists, authors, and
other creators for the Arisia Creators' Corner.

Pre-Con:
* Recruit creators
* Assign creators to tables and invoice them

At-Con:
* Setup tables in the Creators' Corner area
* Check-in with Creators at con and address any needs they have

Dance Area Head

The Dance AH organizes Arisia’s Dance programming. This includes both dance instruction sessions and open dancing. The AH recruits session leaders who propose and then run their own dance sessions.

Dance Venue Design Staff

Arisia has a Dance Venue supporting a variety of types of dance and music Volunteers are needed to design, set up, and run lighting and sound for dance venue events.

Dealers Room Adult Area ID Checkers

Responsibilties: Checking IDs for attendees entering adult content (18+) areas of the Dealer's Room

Must be 18+ years of age

Dealers Room Schleppers

Responsibilities:

Assist dealers unloading vehicles and bringing merchandise from the loading dock to the Dealers Room before con.

Assist dealers unloading vehicles and bringing merchandise from the Dealers Room to their dealers vehicles after con.  To assist vendors: to bring merchandise from the Galleria to the loading dock and reload vehicles.

Responsibilities:

Help guide and manage freight elevator use and vehicles loading in and out of the Dealer's Room during setup and teardown hours.

Must be able to remain outside for long periods in the cold. Area is sheltered.

Act as the single point of contact for several events, attend each of your Events, fix any problems encountered

The Fan Tables Area Head helps coordinate the distribution of display and info tables for various fan groups and organizations
at Arisia.

Pre-Con:

* Manage and vett requests for fan tables for fan groups
* Recruit fan groups for fan tables if needed
* Assign fan groups to tables and locations in the Arisia Fan Table area

Fast Track Staff

We're looking for a few fun Fast Track Staff to run our Fast Track program for kids. Creativity, patience, ability to solve problems, and a desire to work with children ages 5-12 are necessary for this fast paced con-within-a-con.  Usual activities include stories, discussions, music, magic, and of course, crafts of all sorts.

General Tech Staff

Responsibilities: Arisia Tech supports the panels, performances, presentations, and media that make up the convention. We build theaters into ballrooms to create performance spaces; we provide sound reinforcement and projection for panels; we run sound, lights, cameras, and backstage work for Arisia events like the Masquerade; and we welcome new people to join us.
